100 First Women

We were challenged to produce a case bound book showcasing the inspiring exhibition of 100 portraits celebrating Britain’s modern female pioneers.

The design called for the creation of sharp, detailed images on an uncoated stock.

We ran a number of test sheets with different screen rulings and curves until we found the desired result for the images.

Finishes include two foils on the cover (gold and pigmented grey), text printed on Splendorgel extra white, in 6 colours and cased with head and tail bands.

The result is a beautifully finished case bound book with a foiled cover on a Colorplan stock. Both designer and end client are over the moon with the end product.
